Ongoing Education

Dr. Wise continues his own postgraduate education by

• attending postgraduate presentations and courses, spending at least 18 days per year on such courses.
• facilitating scientific literature review study groups in his practice for four groups of between 15 and 20 dentists, each meeting four times a year.  He has done this for over 25 years.

Between 1990 and 1997 one of the UK’s eminent oral surgeons and teachers assisted Dr. Wise at his surgical sessions.  He  imparted his knowledge on a one-to-one basis.

Recognition

In April 2006 the journal The Dentist published the results of a National survey in which dentists were invited to vote on "who are the influencers within the UK dental profession who have the biggest influence on the UK dental profession?"
